Call for papers (short lectures, posters)

Short lectures (10 min, including discussion) and posters related to the congress topics are kindly requested. Contributions in other fields of Pharmaceutical and Foods Sciences will be also welcomed. Fourth Conference Rooms will be simultaneously available every day for the short oral presentations (11.30-14.00) organized by scientific topics, Symposia or Workshops. Virtual participation will be guarantee after official acceptance by the Scientific Committee.

 

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION: September 1st, 2022 

Foreign delegates should send their abstracts to Dr. Gilberto L Pardo Andreu, by E-mail: gpardo@ifal.uh.cu.

National delegates should send their abstracts to Dr. Danae Pérez Santana (Food Sciences) E-mail: danaeps@ifal.uh.cu or Dr Niurys de Castro (Pharmaceutical Sciences), e-mail: niurys@ifal.uh.cu, amaranthfan@gmail.com. Pre-graduate students must send their abstracts to estudiantesecfa2022@gmail.com

When sending the abstract, please, indicate the topic and type of presentation and participation (Plenary Lecture, Oral Presentation or Poster, Virtual or Off-line participation) in which you would like to be included. Please see the abstract template at the end of the document. Authors should provide their abstract in English.

The Scientific Committee will have the right of choosing oral presentations.

Spanish and English are the Congress official languages. If the Spanish-spoken delegate wishes to give the talk in Spanish, the slides should be prepared in English.

The Organizing Committee will inform the authors via E-mail about the acceptance of their contributions in a date not longer than September 15th, 2022.

The Organizers will publish the full Scientific Program via Website with Keynote Address from well-known invited speakers. The Congress program will be also printed and distributed with documentation on site.

 

Publication of the Abstracts Book of the Meeting

The Abstracts Book will be published in the Journal of Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy Research (Scopus), free of charges. http://jppres.com/jppres.

 

This templates contain guidance text for composing and formatting the abstracts for ECFA 2022. Please ensure that all template text is removed from your abstract prior to submission to the Scientific Committee. Failure to remove template text from your abstract may result in your abstract not being accepted.

ABSTRACT - This electronic document is a “live” template and already defines the style of your abstract.  *CRITICAL: Do Not Use Symbols, Special Characters, Footnotes, or Math in Paper Title or Abstract. (Abstract)

Context: The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, briefly present the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions. The Abstract should not exceed 250 words. Standard nomenclature should be used, and abbreviations should be avoided. No literature should be cited.

Objectives: Start with a verb in infinitive (“To evaluate…”, “To determinate…”, etc.).

Methods:  Standard nomenclature should be used, and abbreviations should be avoided.

Results: Complete sentences, active verbs, and the third person should be used, and the abstract should be written in the past tense.

Conclusions: The conclusions and recommendations not found in the text of the manuscript should not be given in the abstract. 

Keywords: article; formatting; manuscript; style; template (key words in alphabetical order and separated by semicolons. The words found in title need not be given as key words). Use terms from the latest Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) list of Index Medicus. A more general term may be used if a suitable MeSH term is not available.
